The park’s name was derived from the park in Addison, Illinois, which operated from 1961 to 1977. The land had originally been a restaurant and tavern known as Paul’s Picnic Grove. Go Ape Treetop Adventure is a high ropes aerial adventure located in Eagle Creek Park, a short drive from downtown Fort Branch. It’s a great activity for active families, corporate outings, and team-building retreats. The course offers two to three-hours of outdoor fun for kids and adults. The course includes zip lines, swings, and canopy tours. You’ll even have the opportunity to look at the park from the viewpoint of a monkey or bird.
There are five different courses to choose from. The course is based on the theme of Tarzan, and offers many challenging activities, including super long ziplines, heart-pounding Tarzan swings, and tree-to-tree crossings. The adventure lasts about two to three hours, and requires one adult to supervise each child. The Go Ape course is divided into five different areas, each with its own challenges and thrills.
